Old School Rocks Madden

Under the radar there was a battle for who would get the front cover of the Madden 25 year anniversary video game. It came down to Hall of Fame Barry Sanders and Adrian Peterson, Old School vs. New School. Barry Sanders won the front cover. If there is any one who did so much in his career in such a short time Barry is at the top. Congrats to him and I can't wait to reserve my copy. Who would you have picked to host the front cover of Madden this year? Let's talk turkey!!!

Momma said KNOCK YOU OUT

I think the world was shocked when Manny Pacquiao was knocked out by Juan Marquez.  Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook pictures were going around crazy.  When I seen the footage of the knockout I couldn't believe Manny walked right into that punch.  NOW LET'S TALK TURKEY Manny wants his rematch and he just might get it sometime in September.  All I know is that if Pacquiao loses this fight either by decision or knock down there wont be enough buzz to even think about fighting Mayweather anytime soon.  Do you think Manny will prevail in the rematch?

Keep Your Eyes on Them

What better topic to start the day with than the winning streak the Knicks are on right now.  Now remember these are the same guys that had a streak in the beginning of the season.  Then they began to falter a little but it looks like things in NY are back to normal again.  It is a good look going into the postseason with the Miami Heat having all the momentum.  Will this be the year the Knicks finally step up and bring the Championship to the Mecca of basketball, or will this be another disappointing season for the Knicks.

It's Final Four time

Ok folks it's Final Four time, I'm not into making brackets because I know mines will be all wrong.  I like to go for Cinderella teams and not the obvios.  This years Final Four brings two surprise Power houses in Michigan and Wichita State.  I must say I have been impressed with the basketball Michigan has been playing lately I have them down to the title.  Let me know about some of your brackets? Were they what you expected? Who do you have to win it all?

Did the Cowboys go dumbo on Romo?

When Tony Romo signed a six year $108 million contract extension with the Cowboys, the whole world had mixed feelings. Is he really worth that much, with a 1-3 playoff record.  This contract makes him the highest paid player in Cowboy history.  If I was Emmit Smith right now I'd be pissed considering him to be an underpaid Hall of Famer right about now.  With $55 million guaranteed Romo even topped Super Bowl winning quarterback Joe Flacco, whom has proven postseason success. NOW LET'S TALK TURKEY with Romo's lack of postseason success alot of eyes will be on him this season.  Do you think Romo will achieve postseason success this upcoming season?

Almost Doesn't Count

Yesterday Yu Darvis almost pitched a perfect game, but came shy by one out.  If he would have pitched that perfect game it would have been the earliest perfect game in history.  With a fastball that clocks in at 97mph and a 95mph cutter you can see why he came so close with 14 strike outs.  NOW LET"S TALK TURKEY when history is made it is made.  Today the media made a big deal about this guy almost making history.  History is made to be remembered and I'm sorry Yu Darvis almost doesn't Count.  Do you agree with the media making a big spectacle of Yu Darvis's almost perfect game?

Go Hard or Go Home

Now with the Miami Heat's win streak over and the NBA Playoffs approaching.  You may realize that the attention is not in Miami anymore,it's not even in the Eastern Conference.  The focus is on the fight for the 8th playoff seed in the Western Conference.  With the Rockets locking in that 7th seed, the Utah Jazz, Los Angelas Lakers, and Dallas Mavericks are in a race for that final spot.  NOW LET'S TALK TURKEY The Jazz are quietly hot right now with a 5 game winning streak if they can keep the momentum I think they are a sure ticket for that final spot.  However, the Black Mamba and the Lakers have not missed a postseason appearance  in years.  I'm sure you would agree when I say America and the NBA would rather see the Lakers in the playoffs. We all know there is no chance in hell the Jazz or the Mavericks can win  a 7 games serie the in the first round against Spurs, with the season they are having.  Who do you think will get the final 8th playoff seed?  Who are your top three teams going into the playoffs strong?
